Minor improvements and additions to the game have been made
- Minor animation fixes for Rixin's combat motions
- Rixin occasionally wheels his sword when focused on an enemy
- Improvements for Rixin and Aria's footsteps
- Skeletons have better translation when attacking, much the same as Rixin
- Melee weapons cannot be blocked by a shield and do damage in the same frame
- Rixin receives recoil impulses from blocking attacks
- The active gameplay user interface has been improved
- A magic meter has been implemented, though nothing gives or takes away magic, nor is capacity granted through progressive items

As stated in my lost devlog, I've accepted an opportunity to work semi-professionally. The work outside of Ventury has taken my attention, though I have not forgotten about my project.
It's a tough balance! I want to work on this, which brings me joy, though I also partly need to work outside of Ventury, almost out of necessity.
It's equal parts fun, exciting, scary, and intimidating, but once I get through the work, I believe I'll come out even a little bit sharper, better equipped and ready to give Ventury my attention again.
There will be little updates like this from here on. Tweaks, tune ups, small additions and minor fixes or effects implementations - nothing fancy, big, earth-shattering or crazy.
My predictions for when I'll return to working on Ventury as I was a week ago range from two to three months out from now, or as far as June of this year. I want to work on my silly elf game, but need to be elsewhere for more of my time than I'd prefer.
